-Take time for yourself everyday – it doesn’t have to be more than five minutes but spend some time doing something just for you. It could be anything from meditating to reading a book. Spend these moments with yourself without interruption and without judgement because you deserve it!
-Write down three positive thoughts each morning. Look at these thoughts when times get tough to remind yourself of what matters most to you.

I work hard not only because I love what I do but also because I love myself (and believe me, there was a time where that wasn’t true). Each morning before getting out of bed I ask myself what am I grateful for? And before going to bed at night, what did I learn today?

I never thought too much about taking care of myself until last year when I found out that a dear friend had cancer.
